Increasing Scotland’s global competitiveness

Scottish Financial Enterprise (SFE) has been engaging extensively with all of the main political parties in Scotland to discuss SFE’s policy agenda and to seek their support for it in advance of the Scottish Parliament elections on 3 May. Today (Wednesday 11 April), SFE has published a briefing for MSPs highlighting the priorities for the new Scottish Parliament that will increase Scotland's global competitiveness for the financial services industry. 

The briefing summarises the policies that SFE wants the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish Executive to pursue, as informed by SFE’s member companies from across the industry.  It explains what needs to happen to build on Scotland's competitive advantages and why addressing the financial services industry's priorities are vital to Scotland's future.
