The annual Bank of Scotland survey of UK towns
This survey identifies the towns that have recorded the largest house price rises over the past year. Scottish towns Alexandria and Coatbridge saw the biggest rise in 2005 with average increases of 35%, while Scottish towns accounted for over half of the UK top 20.
